I am looking for information about in 1835 in Sutherland (?). They had Kenneth, Margaret, Charles and Norman. Norman is my gr gr grandfather and he married Mary McCrimmon (his cousin). I am looking to find Charles' parents and siblings, in order to connect the two families. I have Norman as being married firstly to ISABELLA GRAY 17 Dec 1869 Glasgow and 2ndly to Mary McCrimmon. She is the daughter of Kenneth MacCrimmon and Janet McPhee. I have a note of Charles' father being Duncan MacCrimmon, but I have not found proof.
Mary's father was a piper at Dunvegan until 1846 and would have been 11th Hereditary piper to the MacLeods. Her brother Donald would have been 12th Hereditary Piper.
