I have posted an email to you so let me know if you receive it. We are distant cousins. As best I can deduce and prove our earlies US ancestor came from Glenelg, Scotland (now part of Ross-shire). Can't find his given name but have the McRae side back 15 generations from our Ann McRae McCrimmon who emigrated from probably Achnagart (across the hill from Glenelg). I have made a good start on the family genealogy. The Clarence McCrimmon page is also from this same branch. His ancestor was George Washington McCrimmon, brother of our ancestor, Charles McCrimmon, both sons of Duncan McCrimmon of NC and GA, and grandsons of our emigrant McCrimmon and wife, Ann McRae. I have a lot of the Glenelg info by our branch still is missing.
