This Donald McDonald Looks like my ggggrandfather, born on the Isle of Skye 6 Jun 1769, who came over with his three brothers, James, Hugh and Randall, but went to Georgia. Their father, Randall, was murdered on Skye in 1784 by robbers at the age of 54. I know nothing of his mother. Donald died 28 Mar 1863 and is buried in Macon, GA. His wife was Catherine Johnson, b 1772, Scotand, d. 1854, GA.
My line conintued through their son Archibald, b. 17 March 1799 in Macon, d. 3 June 1887.
He married Eliza Martin, b. 6 SEP 1801 in SC, d. 30 June 1885 in Banks Co, GA. Eliza's history traces back on Ancestry.com to 1020 with Martin of Tours as the family founder, a Norman who went to England with William the Conqueror. It may not be correct, but it's fun to read.
Anyway, Archibald's daughter Mary Jane married my grandfather, Revedy Cuthbert Ray. She was born 3 DEC 1835 In Franklin Co GA and died 26 FEB 1890 in Benton, Saline Co, Arkansas.
I hope this helps.
