Posted by Wendy Carme I have recently been digging under my grandmother`s family tree, and have found myself head on with a few mysteries that need to be solved! If anyone could help me out with the missing pieces I would be very grateful, and so would my daughter since this is her legacy as well. Hi there,
My Grandmother`s name is Annie Dundas born in Glasgow 1926. Daughter of Frances Coyle (Scotland) and James Dundas (Ireland).
Frances Coyle`s mother is Margaret MacCrimmon who married Hugh Coyle Im guessing sometime in the late 1800`s. My grandmother wasnt sure were they were born or birth dates.
My grandmother however says that her Great Great Grandfather was a piper for Dunvegan Castle.
What information I am looking for is who Margaret MacCrimmons mother and father where? and was my grandmothers Great Great Grandfather one of the MacCrimmon pipers of Dunvegan?
