I am a descendant of William Fraser and Flora McRimmon from the Isle of Skye. She was born in 1755 and emigrated first to North Carolina, then lived a long while in South Carolina. She is buried in Tuskegee, Alabama in Macon Co. Her daughter, Gormelia Robertson Fraser, married James Nicholas Price in South Carolina and they moved to Tuskegee, Alabama about 1836. Flora died in 1846 at the age of 91.
Flora, the widow of William Fraser. she was born in 1755 in the Isle of Skye Scotland of the sept McRimmon ________ pipers to the clan McLeod ....was one of the colony of Scotch in North Carolina and a resident of .........(Edgefield or Kershaw ?) District, South Carolina .....She lost her (husband??).......her children........in Eastern Alabama ....her own... Church in that ....Creek .... 1836. Being warned (??) .....and lived at ......... , Alabama until 1846 when she died at the age of 91 years.
