Margaret married Alexander Forbes, probably late 1700s
Had only 2 children as far as family anecdotes, being Donald Forbes,d14/6/1862, and Isabella,( b 1/1/1817 d 22/10/1880) NSW, who married Donald McKinnon b 14/7/1800, d 18/8/1884 Coraki NSW) They had lived at Aera on Coll where Donald was a schoolteacher. They emigrated with McKinnon cousins in 1850 on the Fitzjames. There were other cousins called Sherlock. Donald McKinnon b 14/7/1800 had a grandfather, not sure whose side of the family who "lived to 106 hale and hearty to the last"
We have a few celtic musicians in the family, my grandmother had second sight, she would have been Margaret McCremmin's great granddaughter.
Does anyone know where I can find out more about Margaret?
