Posted by Patrick Crimmins I have been doing some checking and found the a branch of the McCrimmon clan went to Ireland. The name was changed to Crimmins and reside in County Cork. My Great Great Grandfather was from County Cork his name was John D. Crimmins born 1844 who married Lily Lalor. I am trying to find out how or why this branch moved from Scotland and had the name changed. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
