Then, in 1868, 3 years after the end of the Civil War, , Ann Amelia Cade, great granddaughter of Elizabeth and John, married Archibald Mcimmon. Ann Amelia Cade was my (John Fulton's)maternal Grandmother. Then, in 1896 Ann Amelia's youngest daughter, Laura, married Robert Witherspoon Fulton.They were my parents (says John Fulton)." My name is Laura Farnsworth, of Westbrook Maine. My mother was Hazel Fulton, one of John's older sisters. The Fultons as children, lived in Kingstree South Carolina in the early years of the 20th century. Mother was born in 1906 to a family too busy surviving to record her birth or provide a middle name. The birthrecord was eventually seen to, the middle name was not.

I found this paragraph in my Fulton Family History and thought I should share it. "Both James Adair and Sir William took active parts in leading Indian raids aghainst the French during the French and Indian War in the 1750's.
