My greatgrandfather William Dyer born Kilmarnock Scotland c.1853 the son of Francis Dyer always said his mother was Jessie McCrimmon, and this has been passed on down the family, but she connot be found in any records todate. Infact every thing points else were, though there is a Marrion McCimmon who married Williams elder brother George Dunlop Dyer on the 14 Jul 1865 at Dunbarton Cardross.
