Jackie,
Go to Options>ws prefs>printing. Click on drop down list where is says "All Receipts" and choose gift receipts. Once that is in the Area box, down at the bottom of the screen you will see an option that says "Allow change at time of printing". Put a check mark in the design box. Save your changes.
