I need to find a way to adjust the prices as a discount. Whether or not it prints on the receipt is unimportant, however I need to be able to print a report of some kind that details the discount amount for each inventory item on a given day.
I used the Price/Cost Manager for a recent planned markdown. Doing it this way, my end of day sales report didn’t report any discounts. My accountants want to know the details. The simplest solution is to just do a discount at the POS terminal. However, because I have certain items that cannot be discounted, my employees would have to add the discount to each individual item. The goal is to make this easy for them. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
