Receipt Printer error - Reboot when print receipt

Hi, We have Star TSP700 thermal receipt printers and we have a few that are occasionally rebooting the computer when they get the signal to print. Any ideas? I'd also like to know what receipt printers you guys are using currently. Ours are 8 years old! Thanks, Melani
