Hey Clint,
The first thing to check would be this...when you're in the Auto PO, and on the ANALYSIS screen previewing the items that a PO is about to be generated for, look at the ADJ O/H column. That column reflects what is on hand plus/minus any outstanding order documents that are out there.
When you look at the ADJ O/H column, does that help you determine why Retal Pro is suggesting the QTY ORD to help you reach one of the store Min or Max fields?
It's probably in both of our interests to schedule a brief refresher time with one of the trainers here to look at this with you if the numbers sitll don't make sense even after checking the above. I'll have our service group followup with you on this.
