Peter, my understading on how this works is different that some of the other guys, so I may be wrong in what I wrote. This would be a good test. If you do a regenerate of sales from the main and then just send them down to the remote they are saying that it will overwrite the older history and match up to the main. so you wouldnt have to do the archuive procdure. Please let me know if Regen works. it would be easier.
I would also just test with one store not all so you dont have to spend a huge amount of processing time.
