Thanks. I want to be clear on what you mean by regenerating history in this case. The Tool Supplement Manual states that "If DVS changed the billing customer information on any former invoices in Retail Pro (which it typically does), it will launch the Reconstruct Tool with instruction to reconstruct every history file that it modified." My Demo Ver. does not do that for whatever reason on its own. So, if I
reconstruct those affected SA files myself and copy those back to Main, will those changed SA files subsequently poll to remotes or do I need to push the updates to them via an initialization?
If I need to initialize remotes, what Group and Data to include? My guess would be:
{remote xx} > Preferences {8.5} > Point Of Sale
However, this seems scary since SA files alone dating back to 1987 are 2.40 Gb. So hopefully, initialization is not needed and only changed files will poll on their own or I could just copy the needed SA's to remotes. .
