Hey Jason,
Typically the barcode types that we'll use for tags printed in Retail Pro are 3of9, 2of5il or Code128. We've found a lot of success with these barcode types that are typically read universally by scanners.
I'm going to have one of our techs call you to investigate what you mentioned though. One solution might be to reprogram your scanners to the default factory settings and see if the problem persists.
