Hi Dee,
You are correct. Extended descriptives fileds like Desc3/4 or AUX fields aren't available in the layout of supplemental reports. Because they are among the few canned "special" reports that cannot be copied we cannot add that field easily.
We can look into having that field added through custom programming, if you'd like to look into that option.
