The pole on wether May Day should be proclaimed a national holy day or not is, for me, a difficult question. On one hand, it would be a good thing to make it official so as to have our purpose recognized througout the nation, as this would surely increase the sense of solidarity among us anti-capitalists. On the other hand, I tend to be afraid that rendering this a national holyday would transform it in the same way that every other official holyday has lost its traditional significance and become another reason to exploit our irrational consumer's nature.
