I grew up in SW Iowa and remember the May Day Baskets that my grandmother always helped us make each year. We have tried it several times in Michigan and we will keep trying. My girls enjoy the fun even if no one knows what we are doing. I have even had a hard time trying to find information about the origin of the baskets - was going to try putting some info in each basket, but I'm not having much luck!
