Hello, my name is ember and I am doing a folklore project on May Day. I know a fair amount of lore through my own studies, but it only qualifies as folklore if it has been passed down to the informant as a tradition. I will enter all informants as annonmys unless I am given permission to use name/screen name by any informants. I am looking for any lore-- traditional foods, songs, crafts, objects (like the May Pole) and their significance. these will be presented to my class and then archived. I would appreciate any information whatsoever. Thank you very much.
