As a little girl my Mother always had us leave flowers on the door steip of our neighbors and then do a ding-dong (doorbell) ditch, hide behind the bushes or tree and watch the lady answer the door. On this same note, my friend at work brought me flowers today in honor of May Day and we found out that most of the people here didn't know anything about it or do the ding-dong ditch to their neighbors as girls.
