Posted by David Alberto Velásquez Good evening, My name´s David Velásquez and I´m a DIE-HARD Hulkaholic, I´m very happy because I could review another great episode today, while I´m kinda sad because it´s the last one... oh well... Today´s final episode is: Another Path, let me tell you that I really enjoyed a lot this episode, Mako did his first appearence on The Hulk tv series and I really loved that part at the very beginning of the episode where David´s hithiking through the storm, this was one of those episodes where David had some sort of bad luck while hitchiking and all,(He has always had some sort of bad luck at the end and at the beginning of course, but especifically he did on this one) and especially the truck driver was the only guy (I can think of right now) who didn´t want to give David a ride, so he had to sneak and to get inside that truck, he really had no other choice. I was also wondering if that trucker had noticed if Li- Sung did the same thing as David did, perhaps not, Li-Sung was old and all but still he was way too clever. As for Silva, he was a true #/&"$?) in my humble opinion, although he did an absolutely well role as the " American Leader" he though he would bust in San Francisco´s chinatown and do whatever he wanted to do. His buddy and college Simon was a major pain in the &$%#$ too. As For the Hulkouts, superb! especially The First one, on this episode the real frightening Hulk Out sound began, I also enjoyed The Hulk´s reaction when he carried Li Sung Out of the truck, The Hulk seemed to have appreciated Li- Sung very much, it was almost like if The Hulk knew already that Li Sung was a blind man. The Second Hulkout was more kinda funny, while Mae´s grandmother was heading to the kitchen to spank David with a wooden spoon because of the tea cup, David Hulks out and then when The Hulk´s getting out through the window Mae´s grandmother spanked him hard, so hard that the wooden spoon just broke in two! LOL Mae was also a great character, but she didn´t trust no one, she was more like a vengful person, that was reasonable since Silva had murdered her father, that scene where David, Li Sung Mae and all of those victims which Silva had affected in a certain way were all gathered in one single room planning how to unmask him. Finally the final confrontation between Silva and Li Sung will always be a true classic!, Li Sung had managed all the way to beat Silva clean and fair. Charles Picerni did a good role as one of Silva´s henchmen, and The way how The Hulk threw him! CLASSIC! AND BRUTAL! I would have to rate this episode with an 8.5, Mcgee´s presence was necessary on this episode too. Although, I do agree with you Will when you stated that Another Path was way more better than The Disciple was, of course, I think that for one reason Mako was one of those brilliant characters that gave life to this episode, unfortunately he appeared in half part on The Disciple,(Until his death on the episode) His pupil Michael was the real star afterwards. It´s been an honor to have participated in Hulkaholic anonymous # 121, I do look forward to keep on Hulking with you guys a lot more! Cheers!! David.
