Posted by DFS on 10/29/2002, 3:32 am Some of the ones that stick out in my mind are 'Lottery'; 'Triangle'; 'Sideshow'; 'Babalo'; 'Sanctuary'; 'Slaves' I find Sideshow entertaining because of the evil Benedict (I forget the actor's name but he also guest starred in 'Phenom' which is considered the single worst episode) and his holy speech, then David tries to reason with him through the Bible and gets whacked in the head. Also the funhouse transformation and the ending guitar music i thought was one of the best variations on the Lonely Man theme. I can see why Babalo gets ripped because of the unbelievability that a whole town could be spooked by voodoo. What i did like though was the 'semi-flirtation' between David and Dr. Renee followed by his getting cotton candy. Also I love the 'showdown' as David 'defies' the Babalo. My favorite line: "I am unharmed". And i love when he hulks out under a sheet, throws the bad guys around and destroys the whole sacrament. Triangle is to me the next in line after 'Married' in terms of romance episodes. Yeah the whole idea of a lumberbaron wanting to kill Banner is somewhat lame, but i liked the scenes with David and Gail. You only really saw this kind of 'discussions' with Caroline Fields. Perhaps the Return of the Hulk could be thrown in also. I also find the ending extremely sad and powerful. I mean we know it's always ends with the sad theme, but this one was downright depressing, haunting. Lottery can be summed up in one word: Generalismo!!! Viva la Marina!!! It has one of my favorite lines: "Remove this tree!" I think Mark has an audioclip on the site somewhere of McGee speaking to the General about the Hulk. The other part i liked is when David argues with Harry about wanting his share and Harry doesn't have it. Slaves i liked because of the storyline. I think Mark commented that the plot was a neet idea but had weak acting. I guessed i found the storyline strong enough to overshadow the weakness' I liked when the Hulk walks out of the saloon and shakes his head after getting blasted. WIth Sanctuary, i can see why this one is not liked. It does seem like a ho-hum episode especially putting Davids sister in here. But i liked when David blesses the people and claims that the church is the only thing Pratero does not control. I also like the car chase with the music. Also Father Costa resembles Bixby alot.

I've noticed that there are some episodes most people consider 'bad' or 'weak' that i actually find as some of my favorites.
