here are some suggestions for you...have your son pretend to hiss like a snake. But tell him not to let his tongue slip out. make it a game, tell him to pretend his teeth are stuck together and try to make the /s/ sound, I always refer to it as the snake sound to my young ones, it seems to work well with them. you could also try humming kids songs using the /s/ sound only. it's fun and something different. also, you and your son can cut out pictures out of magazines that start with the /s/ sound and make an /s/ poster. i hope that helps.
