But one day, a party of adventurers from a far off land came upon the wretched kingdom, and with the oppressed masses, took up arms against the evil ruler. His castle wall breached, and his knightsguard overwhelmed, the king called on dark and evil magic forces, thought long forgotten in this realm, and used them to begin to slaughter his opponents. It was only a single arrow that stopped him, fired from the bow of his only son, and the magic-auraed king screamed and faded away like so much smoke in the wind. His son, despondent, dropped to his knees. Regicide. For the good of a kingdom. For the good of a world.
But now, as his coronation approaches, dark whispers are heard in the halls of the castle. The young soon to be king draws further away from his trusted advisors, working alone well into the night, pouring over ancient family tomes. And a kingdom, weary of suffering, waits anxiously to see what his rule will bring.
That's the gist of the book I'm reading, called "Kings of Magic and Madness" by someone called K.M. Rafflingstein. It's not too bad, and it helps to pass the time as I prepare to take the LWF by storm as Dale Mullen, Robot Construction Worker. See, here's the genius...I'm a robot, so obviously able to physically overpower damn near anyone on the roster (except for that ####ing Torso Towers). And I'm a construction worker who doesn't need breaks, time off, some fruity union, or anything a normal joe would. And I'm designed and assembled in Belgium, so the fact that I'm taking jobs away from American boys should make me a heel that--
Wait, I got a text, I gotta go. Something about a shooting at my kid's school. But just remember, Dale Mullen, Robot--
Again, what the hell? Oh...it's Kyle?
Um, you guys running any international shows soon? Like in the next day or two? I'm available.
