I think we can get the ball rolling again with a LWF Mock-umentary (i.e. Spinal Tap, Waiting for Guffman, etc.) It would center around a journalist trying to track down what remains of a legendary and indy wrestling fed that took the Chicago area by storm for a decade then just vanished, leaving only rumors in it's wake. The journalist would track down Dr. Gimic, Supreme, Billy Whack, etc... semi-scripted interviews in character and we could combine it with real interviews from some current Indy guys who cite the LWF as they're jumping off point/influence. We might even be able to find some of the Lincoln Way kids who were there for the original backyard shows. Throw in some of the old footage and you've got yourself a solid marketing device. Hilarious and nostalgic to those that were involved, fascinating to those who have never heard of us. Play it out in sections on the web (U-Tube, MySpace...) and see what the response is. "Gentlemen", and you know who you are, let me know what you think. I'm ready when you are.
