I don't know much about the boat your building but I started to build a small stich & glue 11' "V" bottom plywood boat in Nov last year I installed a Kawasaki Jet Ski Motor using the bottom of the jet ski so we could have the mounting for the motor and jet. I am at the point of finishing the decking in a couple of weeks. I have always love the look of the 1950's Christ Crafts with the honduras Mahogany and white caulking so that how the deching will be finished on this little boat. With the alteration and devations from the orginal plywood model it is starting to become a little heavy. Would love to share ideas Jim
