Posted by Basil on January 16, 2002, 10:24 am Unfortunatly, it not fair on a few fronts (as you yourselves claim to be a DJ agency you should agree with these), the below goes for many promotions I hasten to addd and not just Pam's... 1. A lot of the Dj's who use the name are simply not up to the standard of DJ you would find an event. Therefore they don't exactly project the right image of the promotion. 2. It's cheating the punters! 3. Someone who's played at one after party does not automatically earn the right to use a brand name for their own gain. i'm not b###hin' just telling it how it is. You lot are trying to project a professional image, so therefore you should promote more professionally. I understand how hard it is for DJ's to get breaks into club work (I've been trying for 13 years now), but they shoot themselves in the foot when shit like this happens, believe me. If you want to know who has the right to put Pam's House after their names, go to the DJ pages at: www.pamshouse.co.uk That should clear up any confusion. Regards
... unfortunatly, there seems to be a shit load of flyers going around with DJ's on who claim to be associated with Pam's and other promotions (even a couple of bad people have used the Love Is... name), this is enevitable I suppose as the events are obviously so successful.
