Presumably what you saw was ancient Finikas - Finix or Phoenix, where there are Roman and Byzantine remains and a Venetian fort, and a strange, sunken, church-like building. No volcano as far as I know though. Was this on the coast? John --Previous Message-- : Two weeks ago, I spent two happy days in Loutro.
