In this month's issue of The Mailbox Bookbag, there was information on two books from Penguin Putnam Young Readers:
"Parts" ISBN No. 0-14-056533-7; and
"More Parts" ISBN No. 0-8037-1417-3
The books are filled with idiomatic expressions concerning the body (i.e. "a broken heart", "lending a hand", "cracking up", etc.). As if that isn't enough, apparently the text rhymes. My first thought was what a great idea for the younger autistic population. Before I ordered them, I was wondering if anyone has tried these books or heard anything about them.
