Are you able to follow those students, either with direct tx or just touching base with the teachers, to see if progress is maintained in later grades? Do you ever go into the reg ed classroom to model what you are doing for the teacher & rest of the students? Is there any connection between your intervention and the classroom curric or home support? A similar program is DESPERATELY needed in our school, but time and $$$ are the big stumbling blocks. I know I'm asking a lot of questions--SORRY!--but I need some persuasive info to try to make this happen, not just once, but on a continuing basis. Many Thanks!!!
Wow! That sounds EXACTLY like what I'd like to do with our at-risk K students. Are you using a specific, packaged program or have you created your own? What do you use for assessment?
