vocab for 2-3 gr ESL

Hi all I am baselining a new client, grade 3 ESL student in the resource room. My supervisor suggested testing his vocabulary, so i am trying to compile a good group of 2 and 3rd grade vocab words and a list of good books to use with this age. any info would be greatly appreciated! thanks! Sarah
