Thanks for the input minime. I am student teaching 7&8 graders in a resource room. The biggest challenge is teaching them to read! No phonemic skill whatever! I'm creating 100% of my material to avoid using cutesy gradeschool worksheets. What I wouldn't give for some leap pads with a WWF theme!
