If memory serves the book is called Targeting Intelligible Speech. Several of the commericially available artic. resource books give an overview of the cycles (Eg. Phonogroup, Once Upon a Sound). I use cycles a lot and find that it is really effective. I am now working on integrating books and literacy materials into my cycles (often via kids making a mini book that has many occurences of target sound) although for the first cycle I often do pretty much straight drill on target phoneme.
