Here's a couple awesome free online resources developed by the Center of Literacy and Disability Studies - check out www.tarheelreader.org Hundreds and hundreds of books for all ages and some (marked with a Rated C) for older students especially due to subject matter - you'll be quite happy! Can choose the voice as well! You can also have your students write books on this site by registering - the invitation code is Literacy! The other is Route66literacy.org made especially for older readers reading at a early level - check out the demo!
