I also use books for my fluency kids. First, I will flip through the book and tell the kid the story. Then, the kid will get his/her turn to flip through the book and tell me his/her version of the story. I also use books to work on Wh-?s. I will read a page, and ask a Wh-? related to that page. That works on comprehension as well. I am slowly using books to do artic carry-over. I LOVE BOOKS!!!
