I would only go with the audiological eval diagnosis. I have used the TAPS-3, which is very good however there are checklists out there for staff e.g. Fischer Auditory Processing and check the internet for more. Processing Power is another good resource and is a program used with kids with AP. The audiol in my area also does specific training that she took intense workshops on in order to treat. I personally am not comfortable with but have used Earobics, which is a good computer program and now have Processing Power which Iwill look at over the summer. There are 6 different kinds of auditory processing difficulties and along with that are different treatments. I would do more research along with language eval and TAPS, however again, one must rely on Audiologist results.
