I just did a consult on a 6th grader who was receiving speech therapy until about a year ago when she was dismissed. She was working on articulation and I didn't notice any errors when talking with her. The parent also said she was diagnosed with auditory processing disorder but I don't think it was an actual diagnosis from an audiologist. They are now going through the process of having her tested for auditory processing through the school. She has good grades and reads well but is not good at spelling. I'm going to do a full evaluation but I wondered if anyone has any ideas on the spelling. I'm going to give the TAPS but I'm not sure if I have access to it, so are they any other assessments anyone would recommend? Thanks!
