Try working on questions that would expand their social interactions with peers. Such as-
Where is ___ (student name)?
What is your name?
What did you do this weekend?
questions they can ask someone about their show and tell- Where did you get it? etc.
Maybe have them practice doing show and tell in your room and asking questions.
