Currently my school district is embracing the DIBELS reading measure and as I mentioned, my phonology push in and phonology therapy incorporate targeted components from this test such as initial, final sound indentification, sound segmenting words, sound blending, etc.
I started doing this last year and it really helped some of my speech K students pass part of the DIBELS test and increase their speech production in my therapy. So I feel it is a win-win situation.
