I would work on teaching them how to play. I find that is one of the hardest skills for my students with Autism. They don't understand how to play games with other kids, how to play outside at recess etc. Take them outside and show them how to go down the slide and swing on the swing and talk about how to ask a friend to play and about how to respond when asked to play. Stuff like that.
Hope that Helps!
