I just attended a wonderful workshop-- Lucy Hart-Paulson was the speaker. She's fantastic if you ever get the opportunity to listen to her. She said that rapid naming activities ARE useful activities as part of a tx session. It helps children with lexical retrieval , helps with their inner speech and helps them to store the words in their brain so they can access them. My kids LOVE it-- I just reduce the # of items for children who have more difficulty with it.
