I just bumped in to a teacher who has an atric student of mine. He has a frontal lisp and is currently working on /s,z/ at word level. She is worried about his spelling and has mentioned this to me before. A few months back I had her give me weekly copies of his spelling lists and we review them during therapy. She hasn't seen improvement and is worried about how he will manage in the 3rd grade. He especially has trouble with 2 and 3 consonant blends. She is looking for things to give the parents to work on at home. Does anyone have suggestions? Is there more I can do during therapy? I see him once a week for 30 minutes with another student with the same issues. Thanks in advance for your help!
