Posted by steve -- ind on 3/16/2005, 12:59 pm It is unlikely that he will be able to return to the round pen for a long time. His medical costs are astronomical. As most self-employed horse trainers whom put their lives on the line for their clients, Pete has no medical insurance. Pete has served the horse community for years, giving more than he got. He is a proud, generous friend to both horse and human. Pete would not ask for help. It is not the cowboy way. But we will! The Equine Community is an amazing world of people who love nature and the nature of horses. I am making a plea for each person who reads this, to take this moment and commit, however large or small, a monetary gift to Pete. Your generosity will help him pay his medical expenses in addition to his long recovery. Please make all well wishes & checks This is an immediate plea for assistance. To those of you that can assist Pete right now, we greatly appreciate it. At a later date (to be announced) we shall also be organizing an event on Pete's behalf. Thank you and God Bless...
