The first game was a delight for Shane to play against 4 girls from Garrison Forrest - they invited "Shane" & the Poway Team out to dinner after the game (the four boys from Eldorado had staked out the girls & decided which one each would go after) so when the girls told Shane their plan was to be riding in his lap all game (in front of the Eldorado Boys) it made his day
This was a good tune up game for Poway, while the Garrison Forest women's team played real hard the entire game they just couldn't score goals, Shane scored 13, Jared 8, Danika 3 and 2 pony goals ( where the ball bounces in for a score off one of the horses - could have been hit by either team)
The Okalahoma Horses were ok, the Texas A&M horses were real good. The first challenge comes today when the kids play Fort Worth
