Also, good teamwork on the refereeing by Russ and Christina kept the chukkers moving and without incident. Speaking of the teams, they looked MARVELOUS in their new Ivy Green and Navy Blue Lakeside Polo Club shirts. Several team shirts were awarded to people who have made special efforts for the Lakeside Polo Club throughout the year, and to the success of the day. We'll still be Reds and Blues for weekend polo tho'. It's too hard to say "Navy to the Barn and Ivy to the Ocean", etc The gab session under the Pepper Tree was fun and friendly, inspired by the team work of Pat Bender, the Margarita Blender and Marge the Chili Chef.
