Posted by Russ on 4/29/2002, 1:16 pm It is the Polo friends that you make & meet that make Polo such a great sport, these kids have already started to network with kids all over the US and they don't realize the rewards that will come down the road from that - They have made good friends with David Barons the Fort Worth Coach who is a former Lakeside Polo member - he & Steve go way back - small world we live in
This years Interscholastic Finals proved again the cost of fouling and the inability to convert foul/penalty shots - Poway only made 2 out of 14 penalty shots - Fort Worth made 12 of like 16
Poway scored 16 points from the field Fort Worth scored 9 so the penalty's killed Poway Change to repeat as Interscholastic Champs - remember if you don't foul you will not have this problem especially in Interscholastic where 80% of the foul/penalty shots are undefended
