Posted by steve (indirectly) Polo America is also going to host a unique fund-raiser in Las Vegas at this year's Polo America Expo. We have commissioned an artist to produce life size fiberglass polo players. The art exhibit and auction will be named "The Colorful World of Polo". The Colorful World of Polo will feature 15 plus life size polo players painted by renowned polo artists. Each player will depict either a geographical area of polo or their particular interpretation of polo. The polo players will be auctioned at the 2002 Expo. Fifty percent of the proceeds will go to the FIP Olympic Fund and financial support for the USA team in the 2003 World Championship. Be a part of the action at the 2002 Polo America Expo. The theme of this year's Polo America Expo is "Improving Your Game and Horse Maintenance". Seminars will range from "Effective Use of a Hitting Cage" to "Horse Transportation" to "Polo Barns" to "Videoing your games and that of your competition". There will also be numerous seminars on polo club management and live horse demonstrations.
