I hope you might be able to help direct me in the area of some information about the ingestion of Tetracycline Hydrochloride. I am following up on some advice provided by a vet who suggested that ingestion would aide in the treatment of an internal bacterial infection. There is plenty of information around about it's use as a externally, but I cannot find anything relating to it's absorption and effective use if applied as a medicated food.
I am sceptical about it's effectiveness as I cannot find corroborating advice nor locate details on it's digestion.
