Thanks for that! I stand corrected! We have all seen the koi farming culture come a long way then!
Rice fields to wild ponds to reseviors to earthen dams/'mud ponds' and now to modern earthen dams. So what is at the heart of the trend?
more stable and controlable conditions
I'll be back on schedule in 2010-- two trips a year just like the 'old days'! Anyone interested in forming a new 'Boys fishing trip' for the 2010 harvest? ( girls too of course - tops optional).
